FRANKFORT — The Onekama boys basketball team lost to Frankfort on
Tuesday night, 62-48.
The Panthers jumped out to a 25-10 lead at the end of the first quarter
and, although the Portagers cut into the deficit, they were never able
to fully bridge the gap. |
“We keep getting bit by the same bug,” said
Onekama coach Jim Hunter. “We turn it over way too much and miss too
many shots.”
Hunter said he was proud of the way his players battled back after
halftime, but thought that might have drained their energy as Frankfort
made a final push.
Adrian Norman led the Portagers (1-6) with 18 points while Skyler Kimpel
had 15 points and nine rebounds. |
