The Paul Foster memorial student of the year in Industrial Technology at Onekama High School goes to senior Nick Osborn. Nick’s coffee table received a tenth place honorable mention at the Michigan Industrial Technology Education Society region #13 fair held at Big Rapids. Awards are given each year to students that demonstrate skill, work ethic and craftsmanship in the field of wood working. First through fourth place winners from 19 regions qualify for the state competition. This year senior Brandon Morrill and sophomore Brittany Trombley received a regional fourth place and state honorable mentions in their respective division, category and level held at Saginaw Valley State University on Friday May 11, 2012.
