The Girls track team finished 4^th out of the 11 team field Friday afternoon at the Manton Invitational.  Bringing home medals were:

• Jaylee Brown second in the pole Vault 9’0 a season best vault
• Ashley Rupert second in the High Jump 4’11
• 3200 meter co-ed relay second place Tobi Schoedel, Tayor Anderson, Tyler Groenwald, Ryan Pienta
• Taylor Hagen third in the Pole Vault 8’6
• 400 meter relay third place Danielle Ward, Jaylee Brown, Yumi Babinec, Breezy Fink
• Nikki Slater fourth in the Long Jump
• Yumi Babinec fourth in the 100 meter high hurdles, with a season best time of 16.7
• Breezy Fink fouth in the 100 meter dash a season best time of 13.0
• 800 meter co-ed relay fifth  place Nikki Slater, Breezy Fink, Danny Brown, Chase Callaway

Manton won their invitational for the girls with 137 points while Pine River finished second with 120, followed by Buckley in third with 60 and Onekama in fourth with 53. 

The boys track team took home the third place trophy at the Manton Invitational last Friday.

• Taking second place in the 3200m coed relay were Ryan Pienta, Tyler Groenwald, Tobi Schoedel, and Taylor Anderson. 

• In the 110m hurdles Danny Brown took fourth. 

• In the 800 coed relay, taking fifth place were Chase Callaway, Danny Brown, Breezy Fink and Nicole Slater.

• In the 1600m run, Bobby Myers placed seventh, while Parker Sternberger placed fifteenth. 

• In the 400m run Reese Heiler placed ninth.

• In the 300m hurdles Danny Brown was fourth. 

• In the 800m run Ryan Pienta was ninth.

• In the 3200m run, Bobby Myers placed fourth.

• In the 1600m relay, the team of Tyler Groenwald, Reese Heiler, Ryan Pienta and Danny Brown placed third.

• For the field events: Chase Callaway placed sixth in the discus,

• Raul Torres placed eighth in the shot put

• Matt Munro placed fourth in the long jump. 

 There will be a dual meet at home with Mesick on Wednesday.
