“Overall, I was real happy
with how the girls played,” said Onekama coach Phil Sedelmaier. “We were
playing shorthanded, and not having our second pitcher hurt us.”
In the first game, Jennica Mathieu went 1-for-3 with two RBIs while
Elizabeth Bergen and Katie Prielipp each had a hit. Nicole Slater
went 2-for-3 in the nightcap with an RBI.
