Onekama Drops Two
HART — The Onekama softball team dropped both games of a doubleheader
against Hart on Monday.
The Pirates won the opener 16-1 by mercy rule in four innings and closed
out the sweep with a 27-18 win in the nightcap.
The Portagers (0-6) had four hits in the opener. Elizabeth Bergren had a
hit and drove in a run, Nikki Slater had a hit and scored Onekama’s lone
run while Ashley Shultz and Emily Bergren each had a hit.
In the nightcap, the Portagers had 17 hits but were unable to overcome
walks.
Sherece Revolt went 4-for-4 with seven RBIs, Slater went 5-for-5 with
two RBIs and Brooke Sedelmaier had four hits and drove in a run. |
