Onekama wins 3rd straight

WALKERVILLE — Onekama picked up its third West Michigan D League win in a row Tuesday with a 42-31 victory over Walkerville.

Sherece Revolt led the Portagers (8-3, 8-2 WMD) with 20 points, seven rebounds and eight steals.

Also for Onekama, Taylor Hagen had 10 points, four boards, and six steals, Jaylee Brown scored six with three steals, Diamond Kimpel scored two points with three rebounds and four steals, Jennica Mathieu had two points and five rebounds and Lexi Howard added two points.

“I thought we came out a little sluggish,” said Portagers coach Nathan Bradford. “It took us a while to get going, but everyone ended up getting a lot of playing time.”
