PENTWATER — The Pentwater boys basketball
team drilled 12 3-pointers en route to a 63-59 West Michigan D League
win over Onekama Friday night during homecoming.

Pentwater (8-10, 5-10 WMD), which shot 12-for-24 total behind the arc.

Joe Kosiboski led Onekama (3-12, 3-10 WMD)
with 27 points and 11 rebounds, Skyler Kimpel had 18 points and 14
rebounds, Chase Calloway had six points, Thomas Koon five and Jake
Matthews scored three to go with seven assists.
“My kids played the best game of the year,
as far as I’m concerned,” Smith said. “I’m proud of the way they
played.”
The Onekama junior varsity team beat Pentwater 78-36. Derek Hobart led
the Portagers with 15 points. |
