Tonight was our first home game at Bear Lake
vs. TC Bulldogs. The Lady Portagers started off the first game winning
25-8. The second game playing Sherece Revolt and Stacey Keith as setter
won the game 25-6. In the third and final game to win the match 25-17
Chelsea Miller and Paige Rutowski played in the setting positions.
Ashley Hobart led the team with 17 points, 6 digs and 6 spikes with 3
kills. Chelsea Miller was right behind her with 15 points, 8 digs, 5
spikes and 9 sets with 3 tips. Stacey added 7 points, led the team in
digs with 19, 6 spikes, 7 sets, and 4 tips. |
Paige also added 6 points for her team with
13 digs, 1 spike and 13 sets. Sherece Revolt came up with 4 points, 14
digs, 2 spikes, and led the team with 14 sets. Erin Brown added a point
with 8 digs, and a spike. Team mates Tabitha Bellinger and Olivia
Bolthouse both scoring a point and both had 5 digs. Katie Prielipp
helped with 10 digs and 6 assists. With a tournament already under our
belt I move the girls around in different position to see where they
would play best. It was a fun night with lots of laughter and team
spirit. We play again tomorrow at Baldwin for a non league game.
