Despite the slow
start, the Portagers played hard through the whole game. Offensively,
Emily Pomeroy led the way with 11 points. Danielle was next with 8
points while Jaylee chipped in 4 and Lindsay finished with 2 points.

The Portagers hosted
the Cardinals in their third and final meeting of the season. The
Cardinals defeated the Portagers in their first two meetings, but the
Portagers were determined to bring home the victory. This was also the
second meeting between these teams in less than a week. |
Defensively, Danielle pulled down 10 boards and had 2 steals. Lexi
grabbed 5 boards and had 2 steals. Nikki and Emily each had 3 rebounds
while Nikki had 4 steals and Emily had 3 steals. Jaylee and Brooke each
finished with 1 rebound and 2 steals. ~Coach
