Onekama Cruises Past

BALDWIN — The Onekama girls basketball team cruised to a 64-42 win over Baldwin on Tuesday night.

Chelsea Miller led the Portagers (11-4, 10-3) with 15 points, Sherece Revolt had 12 points and four rebounds, while Paige Rutowski chipped in eight points, six rebounds and four steals. Also for Onekama, Stacey Keith had six points, Olivia Bolthouse and Lexi Howard scored four apiece, Lindsay Nesburg had two and Brooke Sedelmaier one.

Because Baldwin (0-13, 0-11) doesn’t have a junior varsity team, the Portagers combined for Tuesday night’s game, and jumped out to a 17-6 lead in the first quarter. Onekama led, 37-17, at halftime, and increased its lead down the stretch.
