| Tonight the Portagers hosted the MCC Sabres in three tough games. In the first game we lost a tough game 19-25. In the second game we played tough and had many long volleys, but couldn't pull it off with a lost 23-25. The third game was another close game with a lot of hustling on the court but we faced a lot of hard hits for the other team and lost the third game and the match 22-25. In tonight game the Portagers added two players to the line up with Sophomores Katie Prielipp and Ashley Hobart. Katie Prielipp helped the team in the back row by playing the libero and with serving. Ashley Hobart help out the team on the net and was also a server. For the Portagers Kelsey Acker led the team with 11 points and 4 aces, she had 23 digs, with 2 spikes and was the top setter with 34 sets and 1 tip. Stacey Keith Added 10 points was the team top digger with 35 digs, 4 spikes, 21 sets and 4 tips. |
Chelsea Miller helped out the
team with 8 points, 25 digs, 7 spikes and 1 kill, 7sets and 2 tips with
2 assists. Sherece Revolt was also a scorer tonight with 2
points, 7 passes, 2 spikes, 1 block and 6 sets with 1 tip.
Katie Prielipp added 1 point with 10 digs and 3 sets. Paige
Rutowski helped in the back row with 13 digs, 1 spike and 2
sets. Olivia Bolthouse helped her team with 1 dig, 2 sets, and
1 tip before going down in the second game and twisted her
ankle, Hope to have her back with the team on Thursday. Alyssa
Cole had 12 digs, and was the teams top spiker with 14 spikes, 1
block and 1 set. Ashley Hobart added 11 passes, 8 spikes with 2
kills, 1 block and 1 set. Julie Schoedel comes off the bench to
be my go to server and always serves 100%. Julie also had 2
digs with 1 spike. The Portagers play Thursday against
