Tonight the Portagers hosted the
Pentwater Falcons. In the first game we fell behind and lost
21-25. Then in the second game we won a very tough game that
was very close 27-15. We turned around and struggled on the
court with many mistakes and lost 19-25. And in the fourth game
we just could pull off a win to advance to the fifth game and
lost 22-25. For the Portagers Sophomore Sherece Revolt led her
team with 16 points and 4 aces, she also had 21 digs, 5 spikes
and 26 set with 2 tips. Senior Kelsey Acker was right behind
her with 11 points, 40 digs and 2 spikes with 1 kill, she was
the top setter of the night with 40 sets, and 5 tips.

Junior Chelsea Miller scored 10 points with
3 aces, 18 passes, 10 spikes with 2 kills, and 19 sets. Stacey
Keith added 8 points, was the team top passer with 66 digs, 3
spikes, 1 kill, 17 sets, and 5 tips. Senior Julie Schoedel helped
with 4 points and 1 set. Alyssa Cole added a couple of points, with
12 digs, 10 spikes, with 3 kills and 10 sets. The team struggled
tonight to pull off a win but keep working hard together as a team.
The Portagers play again Thursday.
