Tonight we played at home against the
Traverse City Bulldogs.(Home school team). The Portagers came
out in the first game and won 25-12. The Portagers also took
the second game with a score of 25-14. The Portagers took the
Match win in the third game with 25-20. The Portagers were led
tonight by Kelsey Acker with 17 pts and 11 aces, with team mate
Julie Schoedel scoring 16 pts. with 3 aces. Stacey Keith led
the back row with 21 digs, 3 pts, and 10 sets. Tonight we moved
some players into different positions with Chelsea Miller and
Sherece Revolt doing some setting.

Paige Rutowski, Olivia Bolthouse, and
Chelsea Miller playing each a game as Libero. Olivia Bolthouse
had a great night with 4 pts, added 5 digs with 2 kills on the
net. Paige Rutowski also helped her team with 4 pts., 6 digs,
11 spikes. Chelsea Miller also had 4 pts, 6 digs, 6 spikes with
2 kills with 7 sets. Alyssa Cole helped with 8 digs, 6 spikes,
1 kill. Sherece Revolt dug up 9 digs with 7 spikes, with 3
kills and was the teams top setter with 16 sets. The team faces
MCC on Thursday away. I'm starting to see some girls stepping
up their game but there is still a lot of stuff we need to work
