Onekama Volleyball 2007-2008

Tonight we play Big Rapids Cross Roads Academy for the first time since they joined our league. The Portagers played tough but lost 19-25, 19-25 and 5-25. We had two really close games but then fell apart in the third game, to lose the Match. Tonight we also celebrated parents night and Young Spikers. Tonight for the Portagers Stacey Keith and Chelsea Miller both scored 5 points and served at 100%. Stacey also had 1 ace, was the team top passer with 34 digs, 2 spikes, 1 block, 11 sets and 5 tips. Chelsea had 16 digs, 7 spikes with 1 kill and 3 sets. Sherece Revolt, Alyssa Cole and Katie Prielipp all helped with 3 points.

Sherece had 1 ace, 17 digs, 2 spikes, 1 block and 6 sets. Alyssa had 1 ace, 10 digs, 13 spikes with 4 kills, 1 block, 3 sets and 2 tips. Katie added 5 digs and 1 set. Kelsey Acker added 2 points with 22 digs, 4 spikes, 1 block, was the team top setter with 28 sets, 6 tips. Julie Schoedel had 3 digs and served at 100%. Ashley Hobart added 3 digs, 10 spikes with 3 kills and 7 sets. Paige Rutowski added 14 digs with 1 spike and 1 set.
