Onekama Portagers vs. Brethren Bobcats
Thursday, Oct. 4, the Portagers played at Brethren. The Portagers
didn't start the night out well losing the first two game 16-25 and
24-26. It seem like nothing could go right. We stepped it up and won
the third and fourth game 25-13, 25-23. We then had to play the fifth
and final game and won 15-7. |

Paige Rutowski added 13 points
with4 aces, 21 digs and 4 spikes with 1 kill, she also had 7 sets
and 1 tip. Kelsey Acker and Stacey Keith both scored 7 points.
Stacey was the team top passer with 59 digs, 2 spikes, with 1 kill
and top setter with 37 sets with 6 tips. Kelsey had 37 digs, 3
spikes with 35 sets, 6 tips. Alyssa Cole scored 4 point with one
ace, 5 digs, 11 spikes with 5 kills, and 3 sets. Sherece Revolt and
Ashley Hobart and Olivia Bolthouse all scored 3 points each.
Sherece had 27 digs with 6 spikes 1 kill and 19 sets, and 3 tips.
Ashley added 8 digs with 9 spikes and 3 kills, and 3 sets with 2
tips. Olivia had 1 ace, 3 digs, 2 spikes, and 4 sets. Julie
Schoedel scored 1 point serving at 100%. Katie Prielipp also served
at 100%, helping with 13 digs, 2 sets. ~Coach Keith
