| Tuesday night the Onekama Lady Portagers came out strong and won the first game 25-19. Tonight was a really tough game with many long volleys. The Portagers came out in the second game and won a very close game 25-23. We kept our head in the game by playing hard and a lot of talking on the court but lost the third and very close game 24-26. So we came out and played strong with another very intense game and lost 23-25, to take us to the fifth game. We fell behind and struggled a little in the last game giving them the lead and couldn't get it back and lost a very heart felt game 12-15. Stacey Keith added 3 points with 4 spikes, 2 blocks and 24 sets with 6 tips. Ashley Hobart scored 9 points with 19 passes, 6 spikes, 12 sets and 3 tips. |
Senior Kelsey Acker
scored an amazing 19 points for her team and tied with team mate Stacey
Keith for digs with 39. Kelsey had 4 spikes, 45 sets, 6 blocks and
5 tips. Chelsea Miller, Sherece Revolt and Alyssa Cole all scored 6 point each. Sherece
and Alyssa both had 22 digs, with Alyssa spiking 21 hits on the
net with 2 blocks and 11 sets. Sherece had 10 spikes with 13
set and 2 tips. Paige Rutowski and Julie Schoedel both added 4
points, with Paige having 14 digs, 4 spikes, and 3 sets with one
tip. Katie Prielipp was the teams Libero tonight with 25 digs
and 5 sets. Olivia Bolthouse helped with 9 digs and 1 set.
