May 14, 2008

The Portager Girls gave their all in the conference meet to win themselves 2nd place in the WMD falling to 1st place MCE by a mere 4 points.  MCE finished with 182, OHS 178, Brethren 60.5, CCA30, Walkerville 28, Pentwater 13, Baldwin 0.

I’m just so proud of my girls, most of them ran 4 events and gave everything they had toward the effort.  As a coach that is everything you can ask for, all their times and efforts are improving.  We are looking forward to the regional meet on Saturday, and qualifying people for the state meet.
