Onekama loses two to the Sabers at home by scores of 7-3 and 20-0.  The scores do not indicate how close these games were, we gave up one big inning in each game that cost us.  In game 1 with the score 1-1 going into the fifth inning we gave up 6 runs.  We did manage to come back and score a couple of runs in the fifth but 7-3 was as close as we got.  Kelsey Acker, Kailani Buckner and Sherece Revolt each had a hit for the Portagers.

In game 2 with a score of 2-0 going into the fifth inning the wheels came off the wagon which allowed the Sabers to cruise to a easy 20-0 mercy.  In game two Acker and Brooke Sedelmaier each had a hit for the Portagers only two hits of the game.

We played four good innings each game only to let it slip thru our fingers in the fifth both games.  We just give up too many walks which in turn puts the defense back on their heels and then we commit errors, as soon as we can clear that hurdle we'll be fine. They have some good pitchers and we hit the ball. They just played well defensively.  We only had three strike outs all night which means we were swinging, they just weren't dropping in for hits.  Overall we're 11-8-1 and 7-1 in the conference, even though MCC is in our conference these were non-conference games.
