Onekama sweeps two from the Lakers
Onekama sweeps two from the Lakers,
we're 7-1 in the conference and tied for first. Onekama won the first
game coming from behind, down 5-2 in the 5th inning the Portagers
rallied to tie the score and eventually won by a score of 7-5. Chelsea
Miller was the winning pitcher. Sherece Revolt and Kelsey Acker had two
hits each for the game. Sarah Eipperle played a very good game in the
outfield for us helping to seal the win.
In Game two the score was 11-7 with Kailani Buckner
picking up the win. Kailani also played very good defense on the mound
with 8 put-outs for the game. Sherece Revolt led us again at the plate
with 3 hits and Ashley Schultz had a hit as well. The portagers overall
record on the season is 11-6-1.
