Onekama won game 1 with a come from behind win,
trailing 7-2 in the fourth Onekama scored 8 runs in the fifth to take a 10-7
lead and hold on to win 10-9. Onekama had several gal's contribute at the plate
Kelsey Acker had two hits while Sarah Eipperle, Brooke Sedelmaier, Sherece
Revolt, Kieran O'Connor and Alyssa Cole all had hits. It was a great game as we
made several big plays in the field, Sarah Eipperle and Kailani Buckner made
some great catches in the outfield. Sherece Revolt played a great game at short
and made the game winning catch a blooper to shallow left field with a runner
on third.
Game 2 saw MCC take a 2-0 lead into the fifth before scoring 5 runs in the fifth
for the win. Onekama was lead at the plate by Eipperle, Buckner and Cole with a
hit each. Onekama finishes league play in third place with a record of 8 wins
and 4 losses. Overall we're 13-14-1 now. The game scheduled for Thursday
against Brethren has been cancelled.
