Onekama
loses two to Buckley
15-1 and 10-8.
Game 1 was all Buckley,
Onekama scored its only run when Paige Rutowski singled and Sarah
Eipperle hit a double to score her. Kailani Buckner, Kelsey Acker and
Lexi Howard also had hits for the Portagers. Game 2 saw Onekama jump
out to a early 7-0 lead and lead 8-2 after four innings. |
In the fifth Buckley scored 6
runs to tie the game at 8-8 thats were the score stood til the 7 inning
when Buckley scored their final two to secure the victory. Sarah
Eipperle lead Onekama with a 3-3 performance at the plate while Brooke
Sedelmaier and Kieran O'Connor each had two hits. Sarah played
outstanding defense for us in the field as well with several catches in
left field and throwing two base runners out trying to advance.
