Two Victories over Baldwin
Cold and miserable say it
best about the weather last night. However our ladies play thru it to
pickup to victories over Baldwin winning the first game 15-3 and the
second 19-8. Chelsea Miller picked up the win on the mound in game one
improving her win total to 5 on the season. Freshman Brooke Sedelmaier
lead the balanced attack at the plate going 2-3 while Miller and Kelsey
Acker each had a hit with 2 RBI's. |
In game 2 it was Kailani Buckner
picking up the win giving her 3 wins this season on the mound. Acker
led the Portager attack going 4-4 with two doubles and 3 RBI's, Katie
Prielipp went 2-4 with a inside the park homer, a double and 2 RBI's,
Freshman Lexi Howard was 2-3 with a triple and 3 RBI's. We played
better defense again tonight and I was very happy with our pitch
selection at the plate tonight, we only had two strike outs all night
which means we had some good at bats. Overall we improved to 8-5-1 and
