Portager Girls Win Two Against Brethren Bobcats
We finally got to step on our own field for a game and what a game we had in the first of a doubleheader.  We played about as good as a team can play defensively, I'm really proud of the gals.  We started out a little slow at the plate losing after four innings by a score of 4-1.  We scored 4 runs in the fifth to take a 5-4 lead only to give it back in the top of the 6th and go back down 6-5.  We had the final at-bats of the game, after tying the score we loaded the bases and Sherece Revolt hit a shot to right field to drive in the winning run.  Giving Onekama a hard fought come from behind victory in game 1 by a score of 7-6.
The Portagers were led at the plate in game 1 by Revolt, Brooke Sedelmaier and Paige Rutowski who all had multiple hits.

Game 2 the gals come out and made quick work of Brethren by a score of 13-3 in a four inning game.  Chelsea Miller pitched both games for Onekama and has done a wonderful job on the mound.  In Game 2 the hitting attack was led by Revolt, Kailani Buckner and Kelsey Acker all with multiple hits.
