Criteria for Scholar Athlete

The Athletic Boosters ask the coaches of the qualifying marking period to nominate a male and/or female athlete from their sport.  All nominations are then turned into Duane Keith, athletic director, and Gina Hagen, Principal.

The criteria for these nominations are Consideration of GPA, Citizenship, Team/Community Contribution, and Sportsmanship/Conduct.

The awardees are then presented a scholar athlete medal for their varsity jacket. A certificate by the athletic boosters is presented at the next school board meeting following the selection process. All in all there will be 8 scholar athletes per school year (4 Male, 4 Female).
