Onekama vs. Frankfort

Congratulations to the Portager Varsity Golf Team on yet another victory. Last night’s win was over Frankfort by a score of 175 to 203 at the Heathlands. Levi Capper was the match medalist shooting a 40.

Brenner Johnson posted a new personal best score of 41, as did Chase Callaway who shot a personal best 52 and Skyler Kimpel a personal best of 56. The team is now 6-2 overall and 2-2 in the WMD Conference.

Jake Matthews shot a 44 rounding out the scoring four who nailed the win.

Josh Cebula, Andy Allen, Zac Yonkers and Mike Swanson - did not complete due to Award Night attendance
Derek Hobart - did not complete round due to lost ball. Tabitha Bellinger - ill and did not play

Jack Wilband was low man for Frankfort with a 42 shooting 2 consecutive birdies on holes 8 and 9.

Drew Griswold, with golf shoes untied, makes his tee shot on the 7^th tee while using a short iron to get to the corner of the dogleg right.
Derek Hobart, the team manager, got a chance to play the course during competition, as well. He attempts a putt on the 15^th green playing in the same group with Mike Swanson.	Jake Matthews watches his putt attempt on the 7^th hole as it appears to hang on the edge of the cup. It fell for par.	Mike Swanson putts from the fringe just off the back of the 15^th green. The cart path to the 16^th green can be seen in the background.
