It was a great night for football! Randall scored three touchdowns, two rushing and another on an 85 yard kickoff return. He had 18 carries for a total of 110 yards, two receptions for 35 yards and 16 tackles. Reedy scored a touchdown on a 68 yard punt return and one on a 30 yard catch from Gillespie. He earned 150 yards on three punt returns to go with two receptions for 50 yards.

"We've got kids who can make plays," said Coach Hunter. "J.J. and Anthony are two 'big play' kids."

Dan Gillespie had an eight play 60 yard drive with a 30 yard touchdown. Randall ran the two point conversion.

 Gillespie finished the game 5-8 passing for 91 yards, one interception and one touchdown passing to go with the one on the ground.

The Portagers lengthened their lead before halftime. First, Reedy had the 68 yard punt return. The Sabers turned the ball over again and the Portagers went 65 yards in three plays over a period of 39 seconds to score on a touchdown pass from Gillespie to Reedy.

Gillespie threw a touchdown pass to Troy Rau. Gillespie made the 2 point conversion.
