Bear Lake / Onekama Cross Country 2007

On a nice morning for a Cross Country Meet the Bear Lake / Onekama teams left Bear Lake at 7:00 A.M. When the girls and boys got ready to run today they would be decked out in their Brand New Red/White/Black uniforms for the first time.

At Oakridge today they broke the teams down differently this year. Schools with 600 or more students were in Div.1 and schools with 600 hundred or less students were put in Div.2. Thus Bear Lake/Onekama was classified as a Div. 2 school.

The Varsity Girls were off and running at 10:30 a.m. they took 5^th place overall out of 12 teams with 1^st Kent City 86 pts, 2^nd Montague 89 pts., 3^rd MCE 92 pts., 4^th Hesperia 102 pts., and 5^th Bear Lake/Onekama 141 pts.

The Girls overall finish out of 81 runners is as follows,

The Varsity Boys are Rated No. 2 in the State Polls! Their race started at high noon, and they brought home the 3^rd place trophy out of 13 teams. 1^st Kent City 41 pts., (won Tiebreaker with Hesperia) 2^nd Hesperia 41pts., 3^rd Bear Lake/Onekama 141 pts., 4^th was Mason County Central 146pts., 5^th Hart, 169pts., Conference foe MCE was 7^th with 190 pts. The Overall finish out of 89 runners is as follows,
