Here are the results from the Ludington Invitational held at WSCC on Saturday morning 9/15/07 on a cool and raining morning at times but there was a beautiful rainbow across the skyline and at one time there was 2 rainbows across the skyline on the way to the meet.
Our Varsity Girls started the meet at about 10:00 a.m. as they ran all the Divisions together and there were 134 girls off and running at the sound of the gun. Division 4 1st Place Bear Lake/Onekama 33 pts., 2nd MCE 53 pts., 3rd East Jordan 86 pts., 4th Hart 100 pts., 5th White Cloud 102 pts., and 6th St. Mary of Lake Leelanau 119 pts. The Overall Place of our Varsity Girls is 32nd Brenna Miller 22:43.26 (Div.4 3rd place Medal)) 43rd Shelby Sidor 23:15.22 (Div.4 5th place Medal) 49th Taylor Hagen 23:29. 67 (Div.4 6th place Medal) 53rd Katie Alkire 23:32.32 (Div.4 7th place Medal) 74th Elizabeth Schoedel 24:31.56 (Div.4 13th place Medal) 88th Tobi Schoedel 25:22.83 (Div.4 22nd place) 92nd Anna Veverica 25:50.83 (Div.4 24th place)
For the Junior Varsity girls they ran all divisions together and scored them that way, there were 97 girls that ran and Bear Lake/Onekama only had 2 girls run. 34rd Kathrine Schmoke 25:38.45 90th Alex Callaway 30:24.06

Our Varsity Boys ran right after the girls. There were 141 boys running. Our Bear Lake /Onekama won Div. 4 after sorting the teams out by Divisions. 1st Bear Lake/Onekama 40 pts., 2nd MCE 73 pts., 3rd Hart 83 pts., 4th Suttons Bay 84 pts., 5th East Jordan 103 pts., 6th White Cloud 146 pts. and 7th St. Mary of Lake Leelanau 179 pts. The Overall Place of our Varsity Boys is 23rd Chuckie Schoedel 18:00.79 (Div.4 3rd place Medal) 37th Jordan Maxey 18:33.06 (Div.4 4th place Medal) 64th Ryan Pienta 19:19.36 (Div.4 10th place Medal) 71st John Evans 19:25 32 (Div.4 11th place Medal) 72nd Danny Brown 19:33.03 (Div.4 12th place Medal) 76th Jaron Llewellyn 19:43.81 (Div.4 13th place Medal) 77th Justin Zupin 19:45.52 (Div.4 14th place Medal)
For the Junior Varsity Boys they ran all divisions and scored them that way. There were 130 boys that ran and Bear Lake/Onekama had enough to make a team and finished in 8th place with 216 pts. Team Canton came in first with 29 pts. followed by Petoskey and Benzie Central tied for 2nd with 66 pts.
