Last night, 10/10/07, at WSCC Final Conference meet of the year it was a little cool and breezy with rain falling off and on. That didn’t stop the Bear Lake/Onekama Cross Country Teams from doing their thing: they were on a mission and they succeeded! The Girls, Boys and Middle School Cross Country Teams all took 1^st place and all three were crowned Conference Champions.

Congratulation to Chuck Schoedel, Varsity Boys Team, and Cody Graf, Middle School Boys Team, for being the overall all Number 1 Runners in  the Conference. Also congratulation to Jaylee Brown, Middle School Girls Team, for being the Overall Number 1 Middle School Girl in the conference.

The Varsity Girls took 1^st place. Bear Lake/Onekama 25 pts. 2^nd MCE 44 pts. Girls overall finish today plus their place on the All Conference team is as follows:

Next Meet is this Saturday at Shepherd. All 3 teams will be going to Shepherd and the Varsity Boys Teams have challenged Coach Eric Ross to run the Open Race and beat Chuck Schoedel's time. They have given Coach Ross a 2 minute spot time. If Coach Ross wins the Varsity Boys have to wear a T-Shirts saying (if you think I’m fast you should see my coach run) Coach Ross didn’t say what the T-Shirt would say if he loses.
