I was pleased with the girl’s times today, it was very windy and much cooler than we have been racing in. All the girl’s are working hard and they’re starting to see the pay off. Gladwin was a well stocked team in all areas today, they’re a tough class B school. Sophomore Stacey Keith stepped up and ran outside her comfort zone today in the 1600m relay, and actually made a spot for herself on the team. We are still doctoring some injuries and illnesses that we hope to be taken care of soon. With Conference and Regionals just a few weeks away we need everyone performing at 100%. The girl’s track team will next see action on Monday, May 7th at MCE for our final WMD Jamboree. ~Coach Brown |
