Thursday in Girls track action your Onekama Portagers ran in the WMOM meet held in Scottville.  No team scoring was kept.  Medals to the top 2 finishers in each event.

• 3200M Relay team of:  Shelby Sidor, Anna Veverica, Brenna Miller, Ronnie Maidens with a seasons best performance of 10:51 (7 second P.R.)
• Brenna Miller in the 3200M run with a seasons best performance of 12:50 (11 second P.R.)

• 1600M Relay team of:  Shelby Sidor, Anna Veverica, Stacey Keith, Alex Callaway with a seasons best performance of 4:25 (8 second P.R.)

• 400M Relay team of:  Kelsey Acker, Alex Callaway, Marlee Herkelrath, Stacey Keith with a time of 54.1

The track team will next see action on Tuesday at Brethren where they will take part in the WMD Conference meet.
 

We sharpened our focus on a select number of events today, and it proved successful as the events all posted personal best times for the season. Our focus now is on the conference meet Tuesday in Brethren where we are hoping for a repeat Conference title.  ~Coach Bonnie Brown
