Stacey Keith pitched
game one and Sherece Revolt pitched in game two, both picking up
wins in their games. Leading the offensive attack was Stacey Keith
ripping 2 triples, a double going 4-5 and batting in 8 Portagers.
Lead-off hitter Katie Prielipp had a fine night going 4-5, 2 doubles
and 4 RBI. Kieran O'Connor keep her fine season going with an
outstanding 4-5 night with a double and 4 RBI. Sherece Revolt,
Alyssa Cole, Kalaini Buckner, Chelsea Miller all chipped in with 3
base hits. Diamond Kimple added her first hits of the season
smashing 3 base hits and driving in 2 runs. |
Sarah Eipperle and
Olivia Bolthouse added base hits as well. Tonight we caught fire at
the plate and finally hit the ball like we can, Katie had a great
night at the lead-off spot and set the table for us to score some
runs. We were very aggressive at the plate and on the bases. For the
regular season the Portagers finished at 11-13..the most wins
recorded in many years in a season. We next take on the MCC Sabres
in district play Saturday at noon at Bear Lake.
