On Saturday 10/07/06 the Bear Lake Onekama cross country team traveled to Pine River for their Invitational meet. This meet is usually the first sign of winter because it seem to snow every year. Luckily this morning it was just a cool crisp morning with the sun shining.

The girls had only four runners as several runners were recovering from injuries. They didn't have enough to compete in team events.  73 girls ran this morning.

The Varsity boys finished in 4th place, 1 point out of third.   The overall winner and finishing 1st was Benzie Central 50 points; 2nd Kalkaska 73 points; 3rd Pine River 103; and 4th Bear Lake /Onekama with 104 points. There were 86 runners today
