Onekama Girls Basketball 2006

Despite playing one of the worst halves of basketball this season, the Onekama Junior Varsity Portagers were able to make the adjustment at the break and enjoyed a 43-17 win over the visiting Free Soil Pirates on Tuesday night in Junior Varsity action. A well balanced scoring attack was the key ingredient as Sherece Revolt led the way with 12 points. Paige Rutowski finished with eight points. Olivia Bolthouse added seven points. Ashley Schultz came off the bench to add six points. Kailani Buckner and Katie Prielipp chipped in with four points each.

Diamond Kimpel rounded out the scoring attack for Onekama with two points. The Free Soil Pirates were led by Keri Keilman's 15 points. The junior varsity is back in action in a rare Monday game at home against the Sabers of Manistee Catholic Central. A varsity only game at 6:00 on Thursday because Buckley is unable to field a JV team.
