close game until the final horn sounded at the end of the game. The host
Onekama Portagers led the West Michigan D League leaders for most of the
game. But things just didn't fall their way as the Brethren Bobcats came
back from an early deficit to rally to defeat a gusty group of Portagers
41-32. Onekama led 8-6 at the end of the first quarter, 22-16 at the
intermission. |
Leading the
way for the Portagers was Sherece Revolt with 16 points. Olivia
Bolthouse had 12 points. Katie Prielipp had three points and Paige
Rutowski added a free throw. The Brethren Bobcats, coached by Martin
Sexton were led by Tasha Maiville's 21 points. Onekama hosts the Free
