The Portagers gave Brethren their first loss in the conference last night winning 49-44.  The team despite a slow start pulled it together to head into halftime ahead by 1 point.  The second half the team never looked back continuing to play smart aggressive basketball.  Kelsey Acker lead scoring with 15 points.  Stephanie Ashworth was right behind her with 12 points.  Alyssa Cole chipped in 8 points while Stacey Keith hit some clutch free throws to seal the game and finish with 5 points on the night.
