HS went head to head with last year's Conference Champs , Brethren/BearLake, at Willow Creek just outside of Walkerville. Mother Nature was gentle during the match and the team didn't run into rain until they were on their way home tonight. Team members shaved strokes off their game to produce their best 9 hole team score of the season to date. Freshman Levi Capper and Jordan Pomeroy both carded 42's to be lowmen for OHS today. Josh Cebula shot a wonderful 51 and Parker Johnson just one more stroke with a 52. The scoring four tallied 187. Also shooting and making a come back was Tim Veverica with 55. Todd Lyman carded a 57. Brethren/BearLake had slightly tighter scoring and the match medalist, Jerry Stuits who shot a 39. Cory Brown shot 41, Zac Mezeske 43 and Marcus Webber 47 for a team effort and the win with 170. OHS is progressing right on schedule, with each match bringing lower and lower scoring from the team members. The Freshmen on the team have been producing outstanding low scores and it is just the start of great things to come in the future for this team.Thank you Coach Zadow for taking photos for us in my absence and getting me the stats!

The Portagers now stand 2-4 overall and 2-1 in the WMD League.

Below are pictures from last night's match at Willow Creek - Walkerville's course where Onekama played against Brethren/Bear Lake in the WMD Conference.
