Muskegon Oakridge Invitational Cross Country Meet
While Onekama was having their homecoming parade and football game on Saturday, the BL/OHS Cross Country team placed 1st at Muskegon Oakridge's Invitational Meet. (OHS/BL won the football game 35-22 over Brethren.)

The BL/OHS Cross country team got on a bus to go to Muskegon Oakridge at 7:00 A.M. and returned at about 5:30 p.m. This turned out to be a successful 10 hours for the Varsity Boys as they came back with a Division 3 1st place. The Varsity Girls picked up a few Medals also as Oakridge gives out very nice medals & trophies.

The Varsity boys finished 1st today and brought home another nice trophy as they ran as a Division 3 school.

  1. BL/OHS 1st with 50 points
  2. 2nd Hesperia 63 points
  3. 3rd North Muskegon 71 points
  4. 4th was MCE 105 points

The Bear Lake/Onekama Varsity boy crossing the finishing line 1st was Josh Groenwald.

 The BL/OHS Girls they also ran as a Division 3 team today and came away with a 6th place. Winning the division was 1st Hesperia 32 pts., 2nd MCE 90 pts, 3rd Ravenna 97 pts. and BL/OHS was 6th with 127 pts.
