basketball action, your Portagers defeated the
Thunderbirds of Leelanau by the score of 81-46. Leading rebounder for the
Portages was Joey Mitchell with 6 boards. Joey and
Nate Milarch led Onekama in assists, dishing out 4
each. Top in steals were Joey Mitchell, Nate
Milarch, Justin Sedelmaier, and Tayler Fraly with 3
each. The top (2) sportsmanship point scorers were
Nate Griswold with 10 and Matt Fredricks with 9.
The boys Varsity
basketball team is now 11 and 3 on the season and will
next see action against Mesick at Mesick on Tuesday.
