The Portagers had 387 yards offensively and gave up 370 yards defensively in this very well fought game against St. Joseph Catholic.

The Portagers had 387 yards offensively and gave up 370 yards defensively in this very well fought game against St. Joseph Catholic. The Portagers played on as the fans back home ,over 4-5 hours north worked at getting the game broadcasted live on the internet to no avail. We would have to pace the floors at home at wait for word from someone who had driven down there. *nail biting* By regulation end of the game, the score stood 14-14 driving it into overtime play. The Portagers made a touchdown after St. Joseph, but the 2 pt. conversion failed, ending the game with a score of 20-21 in favor of St.Joseph.

OHS had 3 backs with over 100 yards this game. Senior Dustin Thomas had 112 yards with 19 carries and scored 2 touchdowns. Senior Tom Gillespie had 108 yards and 24 carries , 1 touchdown and caught a 2 point conversion. Dave Gillespie ran 151 yards with 19 carries. Dustin Thomas threw the 2 pt conversion pass.Dustin led in tackles with 13, Brett Cronkhite had 10 and JJ Randall 8. JJ led in tackles for losses with 2. Dave Gillespie, Chris Dansby, Brett Cronkhite and Clayton Setzer each had one tackle for loss.Dustin Thomas intercepted a pass and returned it 10 yards!Thank you again Coach Hunter for calling me with the stats.This is our sports web at it's best!

	I finally took the bull by the horns and went to their house. We burned them to a CD and i brought them home and cropped and down sized to some degree....my eyes are buggy after sifting through 190 photos...crossed eyed.. oh and she gave permission to use however the school wants. the originals are saved on a CD and are 6.1 mega pixels...with a good photo program they can crop for what ever person they want...:) ...Gwen More Photographs...
