M.O.M. Invitational May 12, 2005 A new school record, a new class record, many personal bests and the seasons best times for the 400, 800 and 1600 meter relay teams highlighted the annual Manistee-Oceana-Mason counties (MOM) invitational track meet held at Mason County Central in Scottville. No team scores were kept, as the meet focused on individual results and provided medals to the top two athletes in each event. The Portagers pulled through with some of their best performances of the season amidst some tough competition on a cold, overcast afternoon. Senior Luke Allen shattered his own school record in the 1600 m. run and set a new benchmark by shaving four seconds off his previous time to run a 4:29.6. Eric Maddux broke the freshman 100 m. dash record with his time of 24.35. Boys Individual Results: Names in boldface indicate a personal best:
