Ski Meet at Crystal Mountain: January 17, 2005

The season has gotton off to a rough start for the OHS/BL/BHS ski team. Mother Nature has been playing games with them as she warms things up, rains instead of snow and dissolves what snow she did give them. Things are looking to improve this week with snow in the forecast and the teams hope that Mother Nature is done with her pranks for awhile. The new co-op with Brethren is working out great, and they have become a "team" these 3 schools.

The newest racers are rapidly improving and Coach Miller will continue to fine-tune all the racers. The next race for the Portagers will be Saturday 1-22-05 at Crystal Mt. This will be the Flushing Invitational..it always snows for this invitational...this year we hope it does again!

Dani Olson I believe

Chris Smith I thought these were kind of neat pictures.
These were after his GS run.

Jesse Ketchum fell and put his knee up and bit through his lip. Not a pretty sight but could have been much worse.
