The girls basketball team finished 13 - 8 on the season. They lost in district play to the Buckley Bears 50 - 54

Scoring for the Portagers were Mary Bradford with 32 points, Erica Jach with 15, Jade Bolthouse with Two and Ginny Carlson with 1. Leading rebounder for the portager was Jade with 4 boards. Mary led in assists with one and also led the team in steals with three.

Top two players in our sportsmanship stats were Erica with 19 points and Mary and Ginny each with 11. Congratulations girls on a great season and winning the WMD Conference Championship. ...Coach Brown
