8/26 Mesick - Away 6:00 Onekama Lost 40 - 25. Amber Johnson had 9 points.
9/3 Frankfort -Away In JV action last Friday night at Frankfort the young lady Portagers lost by a score of 45-25 after only being down by a score of 18-14 at the half. Leading scores were Kelsey Acker with 9, Courtney Griswold & Alyssa Cole with 4 each, Ronnie Maidens 3, Kieran O'Connor & Amber Johnson with 2 each and Autumn Miller 1 as their season record is 0-2
9/7 Pentwater -Home On 9/07/04 The JV home opener was a Conference game against the Pentwater Falcons and the young Portagers lead at the half by a score of 18-2 and went on to win by a score of 41-11 to go 1-0 in conference play and 1-2 for the season Leading in scoring was Amber with 14, Alyssa 10, Kieran 8, Kelsey 4, Autumn & Ronnie 2 each and Megan 1.
9/9 Buckley - Away On the 9/09/04 the JV traveled to Buckley to take on the Buckley Bears in a non-conference game. They lost to Buckley by a score of 24-34 and their season record dropped to 1-3. Leading the young lady portagers in scoring was Alyssa Cole with 11, Kesley Acker 5, Ronnie Maiden 4. Amber Johnson and Autumnn Miller has 2 each.
9/14 MCE - Away On the 9/14/04 the JV traveled to MCE to take on the Cardinals in a conference game and beat the Cardinals by a score of 29-23 and saw their conference record go to 2-0 and their season record to 2-3 Leading scorer was Amber Johnson with 6, and 3 Portagers all hit the net for 5 points each Alyssa Cole, Kelsey Acker, Kieran O'Connor. Ronnie Maidens & Courtney Griswold had 4 points each.
9/16 Walkerville. -Home 0n the 9/16/04 the Pentwater Falcons flew into Portager country and handed the young portagers their 1st conference lost of the seaon by a score of 42-50 as their conference record now is 2-1 and their season record is 2-4 Swishing the nets for 15 big points was Kelsey Acker. Ronnie Maidens added 9, Courtney Griswold connected for 5 points. and 3 players chipped in with 4 points each: Kieran O'Connor, Alyssa Cole and Amber Johnson. Autumn Miller had 1 to round out the scoring for the Portagers.
9/21 Brethren -Away Onekama's JV lost to Brethren , 24 - 50. Alyssa Cole was the high scorer with 9 points and also led in rebounds with 12. Pictures
9/23 BearLake -Home County rivals, the Bear Lake Lakers, came to the Onekama gym for a conference game on a hot humid evening. the Young lady Portagers JV took a 19-11 halftime lead and kept the lead through out the 2nd half to beat the Lakers by a score of 36-25 and saw their season record go to 3-5 and their conference record to 3-2. Leading the young lady portagers in scoring was Alyssa Cole netting 11, Ronnie Maidens connecting for 7, and Courtney Griswold added 4, and Kieran, Megan, Carmen and Amber all had 2 points each.
