Today was hat day for Onekama Elimentry. Some classes had to pay 25 cents and some classes had to pay 50 cents. Our 2nd and 3rd grade class erned $10 to go to Shri Lanka where the Tsunami struck. I feel really good about myself because in my way I have helped a child or a family. Over 150,000 people have died in the Tsunami. The Tsunami was caused by an earthquake in the Indian Ocean. It seems inposibal but in the sand there was earthquake and it pushed the water up and the waves were over 30 feet high. ...Nisha

These people need help by giving money so they can buy food, shelter, clothing, medicine, bedding, water, gasoline for trucks, planes and helicopters. I feel good because I have helped.
