Onekama School Receives Governor's Service Award

Onekama Consolidated School District was honored at the Manistee County Economic Council and Chamber Alliance Dinner at the Little River Conference Center.  Onekama District was the only school to receive the 2003 Governor's Service Award.

Michigan State Representative, David Palsrok (right) recognized Onekama School District with a Michigan Tribute Certificate held by Kevin Hughes (elementary principal), along with Mike F., Yumi B, and Chelesa M.

 

 

Keynote speaker and Executive Director of the Michigan Community Service Commission reads the Certificate for Exemplary efforts involving over 25 service projects implemented in the last five years.  This was followed by video remarks from the 1st Gentleman, Daniel Mulhern.
