Dec. 13 Away	Freesoil	Onekama won 61 to Freesoil 24; Brandon Hillard 12 pts., Casey Pomery 10 pts. and Jake Zielinski 10 pts.
Dec. 17 Home	MCC	Onekama lost 42 to MCC 43 ;Jake Zielinski 10 pts. Jonathon Sivert 10 pts. in a very exciting and close baskeball game
Dec. 20 Home	Baldwin	Onekama won 54 to Baldwin 50 Casey Pomery 17 pts & Jonathon Sivert 16 pts as they even their record for the season at 2 wins and 2 losses
Jan. 7 Away	Pentwater	Onekama Won: The J.V. basketball beat Pentwater by a score of 47 to 37 Brandon Hillard had 17 pts followed by Ryan Brown with 10 points.
Jan. 10 Away	MCE	Onekama Lost to MCE at MCE gym by a score 50 to 65. Casey Promery led the portagers in scoring with 15 pts and Jon Sivert had 11 pts.
Jan. 14 Home	Mesick	Onekama Lost to the Mesick Bulldogs at home by a score 45 to 67 and saw there record fall to 3 and 4 for the season Casey Promery had 13 pts. Jon Sivert 10, and Ryan Brown with 8 pts for the Portagers.
Jan. 17 home	Walkerville	Onekama Won 68 to Walkerville 29: On Friday Night 01/17/03 the Onekama J.V. played Walkerville Wildcats at home and Mr. Huff had his boys ready to play the Wildcats as they were all over them and came way with an easy victory, winning by a score of 68 to 29. Ryan Brown & Casey Pomeroy each had 16 points and Jonathon Sivert added 10 points.
Jan. 18 Away	MCC	Onekama 34 to MCC Sabers 26 :On Saturday 01/18/03 The Onekama Junior Varsity beat the MCC Sabres at Manistee by a score of 34 -26 to gain a split with them for the season.
Jan 21 Away	Brethren	Onekama36 to Brethren 50: The JV basketball team traveled to Brethren to play the Bobcats. They ended up losing to Brethren by a score of Onekama 36. Jake Zielinski led the Portagers with 15 and Jonathon Sivert added 12 points.
Jan 24 Home	BearLake	Onekama 56 to Bear Lake 51: Onekama played Bear Lake at home. In the game the Portagers were ahead by a score of 31 to 19 at halftime and held on to win the game by a score of Onekama 56 Bear Lake 51 to move there season record to 6-5 for season. Ryan Brown had 19 points and Casey Pomery added 11 points.
Jan 28 Home	FreeSoil	Onekama 64 to Freesoil 13: The Onekama JV's took on the Freesoil Pirates at home and came away with a easy victory as they led 39-6 at halftime and crushed the Pirates by a score of 64-13 to improve there record to 7-5 for the season. Ryan Brown put in 14 points and Kellen Story chipped in with 11 points for the Portagers.
Jan 31 Away	Baldwin	Onekama 68 Baldwin 50: On 01/31/03 the young Portagers took on Baldwin at Baldwin and at half were behind by a score of 30 to 31. In the second half the Portagers went by the Panthers to win by a score of 68 to 50. Casey Pomery led the scoring with 20 points and Ryan Brown put in 16 as the Portagers improved their record to 8 and 5.
Feb. 4 Home	Pentwater	Onekama 50 Pentwater 42: On Saturday 02/08/03 in a makeup game with Pentwater from 02/04/03 the Portagers took on the Falcons at home and at halftime the Portagers were ahead by a score of 25 to 18 and kept there pace going in the 2nd half to beat the Falcons by a score of 50 to 42. This improved their season record to 9 and 6 with five games left in the season. Zielinske paced the Portagers with 17 points followed by Brandon Hillard with 10 and Casey Pomery and Jonathon Sivert with a 8 points apiece.
Feb. 7 Home	MCE	Onekama 34 MCE 51: On Friday night at home against the MCE Cardinal the Portagers fell behind at half to the Cardinals by a score of 16 to 22 and never did recover. They lost to the Cardinals by a score of 34 to 51. Ryan Brown had 13 points for the young Portagers as their record dropped to 8 and 6.
Feb. 19 Away	Manton (make up)	Onekama 54 Manton 40: On O2/19/03 at Onekama in a make up game with the Manton Rangers, the JV fell behind at halftime by a score of 15 to 24, but in the second half the Portagers came back and out played the Rangers to win by a score of 54 to 40. Ryan Brown & Jonathon Sivert both had 12 points apiece and Luke Allen & Jake Zielinski added 10 points each in the Portager victory.
Feb. 14 Away	Walkerville	Onekama 60 Walkerville 57: On 02/14/03 the JV boys took on the Walkerville Wildcats and came away with a 60 to 57 victory over the Wildcats. Jonathon Sivert led the Portagers in scoring with 13 points and Ryan Brown followed right behind Jon with 12 points.
Feb. 21 Home	Brethren	Onekama 46 Brethren 62: JV team took on the Brethren Bobcats at home on Tuesday 02/21/03 and got behind early to the Bobcats and trailed them at halftime by a score of 15 to 26 and in the second half the Bobcats kept it up and handed the Portagers their 7th loss of the season Their season record dropped to 11-7.
Feb 25 Home	Frankfort	Onekama 62 Frankfort 43: JV Basketball on 02/25/03 took on the Frankfort Panthers in their final home game of the season and at the half lead by a score of 27 to 21 and just kept pulling away from the Panthers in the second half to win by a score of 62-43. Jake Zieniski tossed in 14 points, Jonathon Sivert chipped in with 12, and Luke Allen added 11 points .
Feb 28 Away	BearLake	Onekama lost to the Lakers On 02/28/03 the JV team took on the Lakers of Bear Lake at Bear Lake and came out on the short end losing to the Lakers. They ended the season with a winning record of 12 and 8 under first year coach Mr. Brad Huff Congratulation to Coach Huff and his team on a winning season.
