GIRLS — It was almost too easy for the Onekama/Bear Lake girls’ track team. The Portagers scored 199 points. Mason County Eastern finished a distant second with 88, followed by Baldwin with 70, Walkerville (59.5), Brethren 53), Free Soil (16.5) and Pentwater (13) in the first Western Michigan D League track and field jamboree of the season.

BOYS: The Portager boys accumulated 174 points to take first place. Baldwin had 129 points, MCE had 124, Brethren 53, Walkerville 18, Freesoil 13, and Pentwater 0.
