Onekama's High School Quiz Bowl Team for 2001-2002

The High School Quiz Bowl competition was held on February 8 at WSCC. Six teams would vie for the coveted trophy. Onekama started the day by defeating Brethren 80-70, Manistee Catholic 100-65 and Pentwater 155-110 thus going undefeated for the morning round which put them into the finals. Since this is a double elimination format, Onekama had to lose twice. Again, Onekama met Pentwater in the finals. Onekama lost the first game by a close 85-95 score. The second match proved to be the down match of the day, with Onekama losing 45-135.

Members of the team were senior Adam Graham; juniors Kevin Mattson, Eric Cederholm, and Raychelle Noel; Sophomores Alex Savory, Kellen Story, Lauren Schmoke, Joe Dontz, Dan Diesing, and Patrick Stedman. The team is coached by Miss Deb French.
