Third Grade Social Studies Students Display Their Work

Third Grade Social Studies students are learning about Michigan's state symbols. Students first completed a chart reading activity and learned about 12 important symbols. Next, students worked in pairs to research and create a poster for one of the symbols and then present their posters to their classmates. The posters are now on display outside our classroom. Come check them out!
